The project is located in Rumaila, southern Iraq. It is an early EPP power station trial operation and operation maintenance project.It is an integral part of the Rumaila oil field power station. In the later stage, a 1000MW environment friendly oil field gas power station will be built and connected to the EPP power station to supply power for the whole Rumaila oilfield.The early stage of EPP power station is mainly composed of 5 42MW GE MS6001B simple cycle heavy-duty gas generating sets and their supporting facilities.
